One of RSA’s key achievements is the deployment of RWASAT-1, Rwanda’s first satellite, launched in 2019 in partnershipwith the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). RWASAT-1’s mission is to monitor agriculture, coastal areas, forests, and biodiversity, providing critical data to improve resource management and environmental sustainability in Rwanda.
